This bespoke double-sided frame is ideal for small artworks, postcards, letters, and photos. Enjoy landscape or portrait orientation with both sides on proud display. Simply slide the dovetail lid, slide out the mount and flip it open and place your item in the mount - no tape or glue required.

Available in 4x6"/A6, 5×7” and 6×8” frame sizes.

A double sided mount accepting 4×6”/A6 items comes standard with this frame. This mount may be slid easily in and out of the 6×8” frame, lending a classic matted look to the tabletop range.

What is this ‘mount’?

The mount is easy to use and swap-out is quick, and safe - no flexi points, adhesives, tape or framing skills required. Simply put, you have a 100% reversible and conservation-grade mount that can be handled with ease at home - just good clean archival-grade mounting. Simply slide the dovetail key, slip out the mount, flip it open, chuck in your item, close it up and slide it back in place - no hectic handling skills required. The mat itself is cut from offcuts of either 100% cotton or buffered alpha cellulose conservation grade 4 and 2 ply stock. We are working on getting a supplier for recycled or reconstituted mat at a suitable thickness.

All frames are made with salvaged timber, shaped and assembled by hand in the Mount Framing workshop on unceded Gundungurra, Dharug and Wiradjuri land. The glazing is sourced from premium picture framing glass offcuts repurposed in-house from custom framing work. The mounts are cut from conservation-grade mat offcuts.
